DESCRIPTION:Stand out from the rest and put your best foot forward by preparing for Spring Tryouts with MLG. With the season over\, it’s now time to zero-in on the deficiencies in your game. Your Major League Coaches and our talented shooters will target your weaknesses and build up your strengths to increase your confidence going into this crucial phase of the hockey season. In addition to our on ice sessions\, we will engage our goalies in the gym to increase their power\, endurance and mobility. Each ice session will have an additional one hour dryland session in the gym\, led by our qualified staff. We are fortunate to have four Ontario Certified Teachers on staff and two of them have degrees in Human Kinetics. We know how to help our goalies develop the self-confidence and physical literacies in the gym that will translate to more efficient goalies on the ice. \nWe have a holistic approach to training goalies. Learn how to master the most critical control factors in goaltending with us. \n\nMovement Control: ie. lateral skating skills\, edge control\, slides\, recovery\, save mechanics\nPositional Control: ie. depth management\, routes\, tactical approaches\nPuckhandling Control: ie. stickhandling\, passing\, clears\, quick-ups\, communication\nControl Over Mindset: ie. positive visualization\, self-talk\, game preparation\n\nTimes \n\n5:00pm – 6:30pm          On Ice\n7:00pm – 8:00pm          In the gym\n\nAll ages welcome\, goalies will be grouped based on age.
