This amazing training opportunity allows goaltenders to work on their tactical approaches for defending against the 10 Scoring Situations. There’s no doubt about it\, technical skills are a huge part of the basic foundations that make up goaltending. Skating\, recovery\, puckhanding and save mechanics are all critical parts of a goalie’s game. The aim is to get our goalies to “train their brains” to make correct reads in-game. \nThe program is open to male and female goalies of all ages. Goalies will be grouped to face players their own age and skill level at each station with careful oversight from your goalie coach. We are sharing the ice with Cadotte Hockey Academy if you have a skater in the family that wants to train. DESCRIPTION:Work on your game and get quality reps in our Power Hour + Drills\, Skills and Thrills program at Central Park Athletics. In these grueling hour-and-a-half sessions you will benefit from a close working relationship with your MLG Goalie Coach who will help you make fine adjustments to your approach. The program is structured so that goalies will get a full Power Hour to develop skating\, recovery and puckhandling skills\, PLUS+ a 1/2 hour in small area games and drills against elite players their own age. \n\nFull 1.5h training sessions\, every Monday from 7:00pm – 8:30pm (ticket valid for date shown)\nWeekly Power Hour to develop skating\, recovery\, edges and puckhandling skills\nPlus a 1/2 Hour of small area games and shooting drills against age/skill appropriate players

DESCRIPTION:Our After School Special Program will allow goalies to work on their positional\, rebound and puckhandling control weekly with MLG Director Derrick Laporte and his staff. Our early start time is ideal for goalies who may have a team practice later in the evening and high-school aged goalies who finish their classes early. Goalies will be grouped based on age and skill level. Our in-season programs are designed to keep you sharp and extend upon the skills and techniques learned in our Summer Development Camps. \n\n
