Semi-Private Lessons are a great way to get ready for Spring Tryouts. Come join Coach Derrick Laporte and his staff every Wednesday at Big Creek Arena in Amherstburg to work on the skills that will make you more confident and help you to stand out. If you have not yet joined us for a lesson here, Big Creek Arena is a perfect facility for goalies.
We have a holistic approach to training goalies. Our 1:2 lessons are tailored to the strengths and needs of the athlete. Learn how to master the most critical control factors in goaltending with us!
- Movement Control: lateral skating skills, edge control, slides, recovery, save mechanics
- Positional Control: depth management, routes, tactical approaches
- Puckhandling Control: stickhandling, passing, clears, quick-ups, communication
- Control Over Mindset: positive visualization, self-talk, game preparation
